I'm sure sorry to hear about Jim's passing. Although I haven't seen him much for many years I still remember the good times in Cascade Locks long ago. My sincere condolences to John, Gayle and the rest of his family and friends. We all owe a great deal to him and all the other veterans who put their lives on the line for us.

I will miss you my dear old friend. I can still hear your laughter when you pulled some little trick on me. It was great growing up in the Locks with all those miles to roam. We had such great fun. So sorry to hear this news today. Such sad news. I am thankful to Jim for his faithful service to our country. I will always remember his warm smile and laughter. He was a good fellow pirate back in the day! Rest in peace Jim.
