I remember Don and Peggy from my early years in Parkdale when my family was raising calves. They were a wonderful and loving couple always willing to share a smile and conversation. Don was a big supporter of the Lions Follies and I looked for him each year to see how he enjoyed the latest show. A man like that is easy to remember.

To the entire family my deepest sympathy. I always enjoyed going to your place when I was a kid. Fascinated by the cows. We only had one and u had so many. Your dad and mom were always so good to me. Nancy & Melba, Here's a hug to you both on the loss of your dad, Don. I am sorry for your loss. Only met him twice, but he was a rock... for your family and in the community he lived in. The loving care he received from his family in his final years is a testament to the man and dad he was. You've all been blessed by always being there for him. Your loss is shared by many. Don, I've enjoyed knowing you. We met in the early 80"s and you always gave me the time of day and took interest in what I was doing. I remember the sweet smell of your silage; it was intoxicating. No wonder your cows made such good milk! I also remember how you let the wildlife take refuge on your farm during cold winters. It was my privilege to have met and gotten to know you and your family.
