I just learned of Mike's passing and want to convey my sympathy to family and close ones. I loved going through Mike's checkout line at Rosaurs. He was always efficient and always nice. He shared his excitement one day when his son was coming for a visit and his daughter was getting married. I'm glad you had that time as a family. Memories can be a comfort.

We always looked forward to seeing Mike and "checking out" with him. We enjoyed visiting with him he was always happy and "up", a wonderful, friendly attitude. We miss him greatly and are praying for all his friends and family!

I did not know Mike personally, but I will miss his smile and conversation at the check-out stand. I always wanted him to check out my groceries. He will be missed by many!

mike and i grew up in the same neighborhood when he and siblings came to live with his aunt ferol and uncle gene we were teenagers but the same age he was a tpical teenager boy so sorry he left so early i know the pain my dad was only 54 years old when he passed away all of you are in my thoughts and prayers may you find comfort in your memories god bless all of you and a thank you to mike for serving our country

I have so many stories of him. Thats what happens when you are brother and sister. One I like to repeat is when he and his family drove from California to Arkansas to spend some time with me and my family. We went camping and after getting everything all set up we were going to light the fire to cook. I guess the fire wasn't starting fast enough or big enough because he got the bright idea to throw some lighter fluid, I think it was, on the fire from a cup mind you. Well the fire followed the stream of fluid right up to the cup, Mike dropped the cup it landed on his chest and stomach, I was up set and didn't know what to do. So he had the mind enough to stop, drop and roll. Once it was out all I could do was hold him and ask if he was ok. He kept assuring me Im ok Sis Im ok. Had me in tears. So any time he would go camping after that I would remind him not to start the fire like he did here. He said I wont sis. I would also remind who ever he was camping with about him catching on fire. I sure miss him. Love you Mike RIP

Although I didn't really know Mike I met him once when he visited Bonnie in Arkansas. But I felt like I knew him well because of all the stories I was told. I know he will be greatly missed. May God bless all of his family and friends with peace and great memories.

I miss seeing Mike when I go into Rosauers. When I would checkout with him...which was frequently because I like him..., he was always, I believe without exception, friendly and pleasant. When I would ask him how he was, the answer was "Doing well" with a certain inflection in his voice that he used when saying that. I can hear it in my mind now. I hope to see him again one day.
