He always made me feel like I was his daughter---he never acted like he was in a hurry.

He wanted to hear all about "the kids," my hubby, what was going on.....etc.
Fred gave full attention to my stories—what a great listener he was.
And of course, he had a great sense of humor to go along with the conversation.
A gifted listener!

 

In fact, I believe McIsaacs (grocery store in Parkdale) put tables and chairs in the front of their store, so that Fred could sit a spell and visit with his friends!
